Automotive Mechanic Technician

Rimouski Ford is short-staffed and is actively seeking an automotive mechanic technician , ready to join a competent team that works every day in a good mood.

As an automotive mechanic, you will perform preventative maintenance and warranty repairs. We'll rely on your keen eye for inspections and your attention to detail to expertly carry out general repairs on both new and used vehicles. Ready to roll up your sleeves and lend a hand? Your tasks

• Inspect, control, verify and test until you get your hands on the infamous problem.
• Mastering computerized diagnostic equipment for vehicles
• Keep the team up-to-date on the work to be done
• To ensure the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems
• Adjust the repaired systems according to Ford specifications.
• Perform oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups, etc.

Your skills and qualities:

• A DEP in automotive mechanics
• Experience in the field is an asset
• Proficiency in electrical diagrams and diagnostic software
• Ease of analysis and diagnosis
• Ability to make technical language accessible to everyone
• Respectful of deadlines, even when they are tight.
• Autonomy, rigor, team spirit and a positive attitude
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of Ford vehicles -- not required, but it would be a great asset
